About Us

Osman Tennis began in 1989. Since that time we have introduced hundreds of people, young and old, to the enjoyment of playing tennis. Though we also cater for experienced players and provide many opportunities for competitive match-play, the heartbeat of Osman Tennis is bringing players to the game in a fun, relaxed and accessible way. We are proud of this focus.

Osman Tennis operates solely at the River Park Leisure Centre. On one side of us the Leisure Centre offers facilities for changing and showers, as well as the pool, gym and lots besides, and on the other side are beautiful expansive parklands, a haven for dog-walkers, sports-players of all descriptions or those just lying in the sun. Right in the middle is our brand new fully appointed Clubhouse, which looks out on four new floodlit courts. Housed within is the Pro-Shop which caters to every tennis equipment need, a games area for the kids (big and small) when the weather is (hardly ever) unfavourable, and sofas so plush you won’t want to go home!

If, however, you are a more experienced player looking for matches, we have competitive mix-ins on various nights of the week, several teams in the Apsley League, and regular tournaments.
